More About Me

I’m an experienced and versatile video-editor and all-round filmmaker, skilled in delivering compelling content across various formats, with a proven track-record in crafting content for award-winning documentaries.

Shortly after leaving university in 2009, I began a career as a freelance editor and camera operator. Over two years, I worked across Europe, continuing to nurture my creative and technical skills, mostly within the bounds of corporate content. This ranged from filming and editing video, to designing and delivering audio-visual content for live events.

Then, in 2011, I moved to Bristol to switch to the world of broadcast media, working for Icon Films as both a Technical Production Assistant (workflow-management and edit-assisting) and the Marketing and Development Assistant (filming and editing video content for programme pitches).

From 2012 to 2025, I worked for Silverback Films (previously Wild Horizons) as an edit assistant and then in-house editor, helping to create industry-leading content for cinema and television. My time in this role took me to remote and diverse locations worldwide, and I am fortunate enough to be allowed to work in the United States until the end of 2028, thanks to a recently granted i-visa.

In 2019, I attended Avid’s MC239 ‘Colour Grading with Media Composer and Symphony’ course, which helped me to master advanced techniques to bring out the very best in image quality. Then, in 2026, I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to spend three months learning about the ground-breaking world of Virtual Production with MyWorld, Mars Academy and Bristol University. This took my previous experience with motion graphics to new heights by building 3D, photorealistic worlds in Unreal Engine and then mixing them with filmed content in a studio fitted with an LED volume and advanced camera tracking.

I’m a keen problem-solver and technophile, and I have an excellent understanding and passion for photography.

In my spare time I like to travel when I can, always with at least one camera, a selection of lenses and sometimes even a sound recorder. I’ve always loved wildlife, nature, and experiencing diverse culture and relish any opportunity to capture and convey the beauty of the world around us. I’m never lost – I’m just exploring!
